Bayano Caves
The Bayano Caves are three caves located on the south side of Lago Bayano in Panamá Province, Panama. The first, largest cave is approximately two kilometers long. The Río Seco runs through the cave, allowing boats to go partway inside the cavern. Though the cave receives some visitors, it is not lit. Many bats live in the cave. Bayano Dam
The Bayano Dam is a dam on the Bayano River in Darién Province, Panama. The dam was built in 1976; its construction flooded hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of rainforest, displacing thousands of indigenous residents. The flooded area is now Bayano Lake. The dam is the second-largest power source in Panama.

Soledad Miria
Soledad Miria is a small Caribbean island of Panama with 1,014 inhabitants, lying at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:9|26|42|N|78|53|59.63|W| | |name= }}. The island is only 700 metres long but is densely populated. At approximately 9:30 pm on December 26, 2006, a fire started by the explosion of a gas cooker destroyed 39 buildings within 10 minutes, approximately half of those on the island. 348 people were injured, but none died. The island was left with no potable water.
