Coronini

Coronini (Hungarian: Lászlóvára or Koronini; occasionally referred to as Peskari in German) is a commune in Caraş-Severin County, western Romania, with a population of 1,674. Part of the region of Banat, it includes Coronini and Sfânta Elena villages. Situated on the Danube and the border with Serbia, part of the mountainous area known as Clisura Dunării, Coronini holds several archeological sites, which trace its history back to the Bronze Age.
