Bachatsky is an urban locality under the administrative jurisdiction of Belovo Town Under Oblast Jurisdiction in Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located 16 kilometers north of Belovo and 190 kilometers southeast of Kemerovo, on the border of the Salair Ridge and the Kuznetsk Basin, between the Bolshoy (Chernovoy) Bachat and Maly (Stepnoy) Bachat Rivers. Kuznetsk Depression

Kuznetsk Depression is located among mountains of Southern Siberia: Kuznetsk Alatau to the Northeast, Salair Ridge to the Southwest, and Mountainous Shoria to the South. Elevation up to 500 m, area: 70,000 km², length: 400 km, width: 120 km. It is split by a network of river valleys. Major rivers are Tom River, Inya River and other tributaries of Ob River. The central part has several mesozoic basalt mountain ridges of height 600–740 m.

Inya River

Inya is a river in Kemerovo and Novosibirsk Oblasts of Russia. It is a right tributary of the Ob River. It is 663 km long, with a drainage basin of 17 600 km². The Inya has its sources in a ridge in the central part of the Kuznetsk Basin, and flows through Kemerovo Olast in a mainly westerly direction, then enters Novosibirsk Oblast and finally joins the Ob River, just 5 km southeast of downtown Novosibirsk.
