Russian battlecruiser Petr Velikiy

Petr Velikiy (Петр Великий) is a heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser (TARKR), the fourth Kirov class battlecruiser of the Russian Navy, originally shipyard name Yuri Andropov (Юрий Андропов). Although the ship is not a battlecruiser by the traditional definition of the type, but a missile cruiser, its size has given it the unofficial designation of a battlecruiser in the mass media of many countries. Petr Velikiy is the flagship of the Northern Fleet.

Severomorsk-1 (also referred to as Safonovo or simply Severomorsk) is a naval air base in Murmansk Oblast, Russia located 4 km south of Severomorsk. It one of the largest airfields on the Kola Peninsula, second only to Olenya. It can accommodate over 40 bombers and a small number of fighters.

Safonovo-1

Safonovo-1 is an garrison in Murmansk Oblast, Russia, located on the Kola Peninsula on the Kola Bay, 4 km south-west of Severomorsk. Population: about 3000 (2009 est.). It was founded as a work settlement around 1940.

Severomorsk-2

Severomorsk-2 (also Safonovo-1, Murmansk Northeast) is a naval air base in Murmansk Oblast, Russia located 7 km southwest of Severomorsk and just 11 km northeast of Murmansk. It is a relatively small airfield compared to nearby Severomorsk-1. The primary operator of Severomorsk-2 (after 1965 Safonvo-1) has been 403 ODLAP (403rd Independent Long Range Aviation Regiment) operating Beriev Be-12PS search and rescue aircraft.
