Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast

Gorodets is a town and the administrative center of Gorodetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Volga River, 53 kilometers northwest of Nizhny Novgorod. Population: 30,658; 32,442; 34,210; 34,000 (1970). In the past, the town was also sometimes referred to as Gorodets-Radilov (Городе́ц-Ради́лов), or simply Radilov.
