Jizan Province
Jazan is the smallest province of Saudi Arabia. It stretches some 300 km along the southern Red Sea coast, just north of Yemen. It covers an area of 11,671 km² and a population of 1,365,110 at the 2010 census (preliminary result). The capital is the city of Jizan; Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz is the current Governor. The province includes over 100 islands in the Red Sea.

Jazan Economic City is an economic city in the Jizan Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on the energy and manufacturing industries. Arab News reported in January 2011 that when the city is completed, an estimated 500,000 new jobs will be created. The Province of Jazan lies in the south west section of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It has a population of approximately 1.2 million and covers an area of 40,000 sqkm including some 5,000 villages and cities.
