San Esteban de Gormaz
San Esteban de Gormaz is a municipality in the province of Soria in the autonomous community of Castile-Leon, Spain. Its population is approximately 3,500. The town is located in the Wool Route and the Way of the Cid, the route of the exile of the Cid. The village lies between the bank of River Duero and a small hill, 70 km east of the capital of the province, 28 km from Tiermes and 45 km from Aranda de Duero. The Arab Gormaz Castle is located nearby.

Burgo de Osma Cathedral
The Cathedral of Burgo de Osma is a Gothic building in El Burgo de Osma, central Spain, built on an area previously occupied by a Romanesque church. It is one of the best preserved medieval buildings in the country and considered one of the best examples of thirteenth-century gothic architecture in Spain. The building of the church started in 1232, and was completed in 1784. The cloister is from 1512. The tower is from 1739. The cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.

University of Santa Catalina
The Pontifical and Royal University of St. Catherine or University of Osma (Spanish Pontificia y Real Universidad de Santa Catalina or Universidad de Osma) was founded in 1550 by the Portuguese bishop Pedro Alvarez de Acosta in El Burgo de Osma in Spain. It was closed in 1841. The building that housed the university is now a hotel.

Fresno de Caracena
Fresno de Caracena is a small village of about 50 people located in Spain, in the province of Soria, one of the less populated areas of the country. Fresno de Caracena is the birthplace of Pere Abat who is supposedly the author of the book "El Cantar del Mio Cid". Fresno de Caracena is also the location of a 12th century church and a rollo picota used in the past to hang criminals.
