Avaskär

Avaskär is a village, with chapel and cemetery, in Kristianopel parish in eastern Blekinge in Sweden. The city is mentioned first in 1350 and existed until 1600, when the city together with Lyckå lost its city charter in favor of the newly fortress city Kristianopel. During the 1300s, the Danes re-conquered Blekinge. Avaskär's history is not very well known since the Danish king Valdemar IV of Denmark is said to have destroyed all the documents from this period.

Brömsebäck

Brömsebäck is a small stream in southern Sweden on the border between the provinces Småland and Blekinge. Before 1658, the river formed the border between Sweden and Denmark. The Treaty of Brömsebro was entered on an islet in the river.

Karlskrona Municipality

Karlskrona Municipality (Karlskrona kommun) is a municipality in Blekinge County, southern Sweden. It borders to Emmaboda Municipality, Torsås Municipality and Ronneby Municipality. The city of Karlskrona is the seat of the municipality. Like most Swedish municipalities it was created during the municipal reform in the early seventies, combining several earlier local government units of urban and rural type, among them the City of Karlskrona.
