Örebro Central Station is a railway station in Örebro, Sweden, located north of city center. The station building was designed by architect Adolf W. Edelsvärd and was originally named Örebro Norra (Örebro North Station).

Örebro Castle

Örebro Castle is a medieval castle fortification in Örebro, Närke, Sweden. It was expanded during the reign of the royal family Vasa and finally rebuilt about 1900. The castle lies on an island in river Svartån. Some of the rooms are used as classrooms for pupils from Karolinska Skolan. For over 700 years Örebro Castle has kept a watchful eye on everyone crossing the bridge on the River Svartån. The oldest part of the castle, a defence tower, was erected in the latter half of the 13th century.

Latorp

Latorp is a village of Örebro Municipality in Sweden. It is located about 12 kilometers west of Örebro, and has a population of about 500. Recently the local inhabitants saved a local school by protesting against its permanent closure with the help of 130 liters of popcorn. Latorp was also the centre for a campaign in 2004 against the Tysslinge area becoming a city of its own. The village has a very active community council .

Örebro University Hospital

Örebro University Hospital is a university hospital in Örebro, Sweden. The hospital is operated by Örebro County Council and took its current name in 2000, having previously been called Örebro Regional Hospital. Örebro University, which was awarded full university status in 1999, and the County Council have long tried to establish a governmentally funded medical school in Örebro in collaboration with the hospital.

Gustavsvik

Gustavsvik is a major recreational facility in the town of Örebro which was built in 1963 and it includes the largest waterland in Northern Europe. Gustavsvik is one of Sweden’s most visited tourist and leisure facilities. It is an all year round facility where the smash hit “Upplevelsebadet” (the Adventure Pool Area) attracts large crowds from way beyond the borders of Sweden. Every year, over 700,000 guests visit Gustavsvik.
