Lingsberg Runestones

The Lingsberg Runestones are two 11th century runestones, listed as U 240 and U 241 in the Rundata catalog, and one fragment, U 242, that are engraved in Old Norse using the younger futhark and located at the farm at Lingsberg, which is about 2 kilometres east of Vallentuna (halfway to Kusta), which is about 24 kilometres north of the center of Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, which was part of the former province of Uppland.

Orkesta

Orkesta is a parish with 1103 inhabitants (2003), located in Vallentuna Municipality, Stockholm County in Sweden. It is located at 59°36'0.00"N (59.6 N) latitude, 18° 7'0.00"E (18.1167 E) longitude. Its altitude is at 21.95 meters (72 feet).

Orkesta Runestones

The Orkesta Runestones are 11th century runestones engraved in Old Norse with the younger futhark that are located at the church of Orkesta north-east of Stockholm in Sweden. Several of the stones are raised by, or in memory of, the Swedish Viking Ulf of Borresta who during the eleventh century returned home three times with danegeld. The leaders of the three expeditions were Skagul Toste (Tosti), Thorkell the Tall (Þorketill) and Canute the Great (Knútr).

Snottsta and Vreta stones

The Snottsta and Vreta stones are individual runestones known as U 329, U 330, U 331 and U 332. They are found on the homesteads of Snottsta (also spelled Snåttsta) and Vreta, and they tell in Old Norse with the younger futhark about the family story of Gerlög and Inga in 11th century Uppland, Sweden, together with the Hillersjö stone (U 29) and the runestone U 20/21.
