Nykvarn Municipality

Nykvarn Municipality (Nykvarns kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Nykvarn. Nykvarn is a young municipality, and is the result of the splitting of Södertälje Municipality in 1999. Nykvarn can be regarded as a totally new municipality, because there was never before an entity with that territory or that name. The municipality has a significant population increase in the summer thanks to tourism.

Mariefred Charterhouse

Mariefred Charterhouse, sometimes referred to as Gripsholm Charterhouse (Swedish: Mariefreds kloster, Latin: Monasterium Pacis Mariae or Pax Mariae), was a Carthusian monastery, or charterhouse, in the present town of Mariefred in Södermanland, Sweden, to which it gave its name; before the building of the monastery the place was known as Gripsholm. It was the only Carthusian monastery in Scandinavia, and one of the last monasteries established in Sweden before the Reformation.

Gripsholm Castle

Gripsholm Castle (Swedish: Gripsholms slott, Mariefred) is a castle in Mariefred, Södermanland, in Sweden and is regarded as one of Sweden's finest historical monuments. It is located by lake Mälaren in south central Sweden, in the municipality of Strängnäs, about 60 km west of Stockholm.

Södertälje Fotbollsarena

Södertälje Fotbollsarena is a multi-purpose stadium in Södertälje, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Assyriska Föreningen and Syrianska FC.
