Västergötland
Västergötland, English exonym: West Gothland, is one of the 25 traditional non-administrative provinces of Sweden (landskap in Swedish), situated in the southwest of Sweden. Bollebygd Municipality (Bollebygds kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Bollebygd. The municipal reform of 1952 united "old" Bollebygd with Töllsjö. The next reform placed Bollebygd within Borås Municipality from 1974. In 1995 Bollebygd was re-established as a municipality in the borders of 1952.

Älvsborgs regemente
Älvsborgs regemente (Älvsborgs Regiment), designation I 15 and I 15/Fo 34, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traces its origins back 1624. It was disbanded in 1997. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the provinces of Västergötland, and it was later garrisoned there in the town Borås.
