Lobsigensee

Lobsigensee is a lake at Lobsigen in the municipality of Seedorf, Berne, Switzerland. Its surface area is 1.73 ha. On the northwestern shore there are remains of a neolithic settlement which is now part of the Prehistoric Pile dwellings around the Alps, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Lobsigensee UNESCO site is located on the south-western shore of the lake of the same name. Based on several finds, the site has been dated to the second half of the 4th millennium BC.

Halen Estate

The Halen Estate (Siedlung Halen) is a housing development near Berne, Switzerland. It was designed and built by the Atelier 5 architectural partnership from 1957–1961. Located in a wooded area north of the city, the development is an important example of 20th century Modernist architecture, and as such is listed on the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites.

Felsenau power plant

The Felsenau power plant is a hydroelectric power plant located on the river Aar in Bern, Switzerland. It was built in 1909 by the city's utility company, Energie Wasser Bern. After a 1989 modernisation, the turbine hall is now used as a museum. The plant's current power output is 11.5 megawatts. The main building was designed by Eduard Locher and Alfred Brunschwyler in a then-popular historicising style as a "palace of technology". The 1989 expansion is by Vladimir Grossen and Bea Baumann.
