Les Avants–Sonloup railway

The Les Avants–Sonloup railway (French: Chemin de fer Les Avants–Sonloup) is a metre gauge funicular which runs from the railway station of the Chemin de fer Montreux-Oberland Bernois at Les Avants, between Montreux and Montbovon, and an upper terminus at Sonloup. The funicular, which was opened on 14 December 1912, runs at a right angle to the MOB line for a distance of 532 m and in doing so climbs at a 54% gradient to a height of 184 m above Les Avants.

Caux, Switzerland

Caux is a small village in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. It looks out over Lake Geneva from an altitude of 1000 meters. The former Caux-Palace Hotel in the village is the home of Initiatives of Change's conference centre, which can accommodate up to 450 people. The building is operated as a hotel school for much of the year http://www. shms. com/, though it still houses the Initiatives of Change annual conferences each summer.

Glion Institute of Higher Education is a private university with two campuses located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and one campus located in London. Opened in the fall of 1962 in the former Bellevue Hotel, Glion was the first private, university-level Swiss hotel management school. Territet–Glion funicular railway

The Territet–Glion funicular railway (French: Chemin de fer funiculaire Territet–Glion) is a funicular in Switzerland, which runs between the Territet  and Glion suburbs of the town of Montreux. At its upper terminus, the funicular connects with what was the lower terminus of the Chemin de fer Glion-Rochers-de-Naye (GN) mountain railway, which opened in 1892. This later line was joined, in 1909, in an end on junction at Glion with the newly constructed Chemin de fer Montreux-Glion (MGl).
