Buddha Memorial Center

The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center is a Mahayana Buddhist cultural, religious and educational complex located in Taiwan's Kaohsiung City, Dashu District. The center is affiliated with Fo Guang Shan, one of Taiwan's largest Buddhist organizations. The center houses one of the tooth relics of Gautama Buddha, the founder of the Buddhist faith. Construction of the center began in 2008, and the complex was opened to the public in December 2011.

Ligang Bridge

The Ligang Cable-stayed Bridge is a bridge in Taiwan. It crosses the Kaoping River on the Second Southern Freeway, entering Pingtung City. It is the longest in Southeastern Asia with the second longest span in the world, measuring 2617 meters long. The tower is 183.5 meters tall (at the height of a 65-storied building). The side span is 180 meters long, while the main span is 330 meters long.

National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology

National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology (often abbreviated NKFUST) is a national coeducational university in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is colloquially known as Gaokeda or Gaoxiongkeda. Its campus is set upon 750,000 square meters in Kaohsiung's Nan-Zih district.
