Baguashan Tunnel, on Provincial Highway No. 76, Taiwan, transverses Baguashan (八卦山) between Lincuo IC. (林厝交流道) and Jhongsing SIC. (中興系統交流道). The length of the north tube for westbound traffic is 4,928 m . The length of the south tube for eastbound traffic is 4,935 m . Connecting Yuanlin, Changhua and Caotun, Nantou, its opening significantly reduced the travel time between Changhua and Nantou.

National Highway No. 3 is the second North-South freeway in Taiwan. It begins in Keelung City at Jijin Interchange on the Provincial Highway No. 2 (Jijin Road) and ends in Linbian, Pingtung on the Provincial Highway No. 17. The total length of the highway is 430.5 km, with 55 interchanges, 13 junctions, 11 toll stations, and 7 service areas en route. Wufeng District
Wufeng is a suburban district in southern Taichung, of the Republic of China. It was the location of Taiwan Provincial Council before 1999. Wufeng is a mainly agricultural town. It was heavily damaged by the Chi-Chi earthquake on September 21, 1999, which caused around 100 deaths in the town.
