Çiğli Air Base (Turkish: Çiğli Hava Üssü) is a military airport near Çiğli, a metropolitan district of the city of İzmir in İzmir Province, Turkey. It served as İzmir's airport until the opening of the Adnan Menderes Airport, situated south of the metropolitan area.

Temnos

Temnos (also Temnus) was a small Greek city-state, on the western coast of Anatolia. The name survives as a Catholic titular see. When Temnos was a functioning diocese, its bishop was a suffragan of Ephesus. Temnos was a little town of Aeolia, near the Hermus River, which is shown on its coins. Yamanlar is a village in Karşıyaka district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Larissa, Turkey

Larissa is an ancient city in western Anatolia, Turkey. It is in the immediate vicinity of Menemen, in the district of İzmir province. The ruins of the city are on a hill top next to today's Buruncuk village. The main road to Çanakkale from İzmir skirts the same hill, making a considerable curve to the northwest.

Karşıyaka Arena

Karşıyaka Arena is an indoor arena in İzmir, Turkey, belonging to Pınar Karşıyaka and Karşıyaka Women's Volleyball Team. The arena was opened in 2005. The 5,000 seating capacity arena is mostly hosts basketball and volleyball games. The EuroChallenge Final Four 2013 will be held in the Karşıyaka Arena hosted by Pınar Karşıyaka.
