Pop Ivan

Pop Ivan is the third highest peak of the Chornohora (Czarnohora) range, with height of 2022 meters (6,634 ft) above sea level. In the interwar period (1918-1939) the peak marked the Polish - Czechoslovak, from March 1939 Polish - Hungarian border and numerous skirmishes between OUN and Polish border troops took place in the area.

Vorokhta

Vorokhta is located in the Carpathian Mountains and is part of the bigger Yaremche. Historically it is a tourist spa town and later was also turned into a great ski resort with several ski-jumping ramps. It has only around 5,000 inhabitants, but due to a constant flow of tourists, its population almost year round is bigger.
