California, Berkshire

California is a village in the north of the civil parish of Finchampstead in the English county of Berkshire. It is situated approximately 3 km south of Wokingham. California is named after an old brickworks. There are local shops, restaurants, a chemist, post office and petrol station, school and doctor's surgery at California Crossroads. However, the place is best known for its Country Park, centred on Longmoor Lake.

Arborfield and Newland is a civil parish in the Wokingham district of Berkshire, England. It had a population of 2,228 according to the 2001 census. It includes Arborfield, Arborfield Cross, part of Arborfield Garrison, Newland and Carter's Hill.

Emmbrook, Berkshire

Emmbrook is a suburb of the town of Wokingham in the English county of Berkshire. The suburb takes its name from the Emm Brook, a small river that is a tributary of the River Loddon. There are three schools in Emmbrook: Emmbrook Junior School, Emmbrook Infant School and The Emmbrook School (11-18yrs). The latter is one of four main secondary schools serving Wokingham and one of two schools in Wokingham with a specialism in Maths and Computing along with St Crispin's.
