Cheshire West and Chester

Cheshire West and Chester is a unitary authority area with borough status, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire. It was established in April 2009 as part of the 2009 structural changes to local government in England, by virtue of an order under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007. It replaced the boroughs of Ellesmere Port and Neston, Vale Royal and Chester District and its council took over the function of the former Cheshire County Council within its area.

Sealand Road

Sealand Road was the home stadium of Chester City Football Club (until 1983 known as Chester Football Club) from 1906 until 1990. Although officially known simply as The Stadium, it was more commonly referred to as Sealand Road.

Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The Countess of Chester is the main NHS hospital for the Chester area with 625 beds. It was officially opened as such on 30 May 1984, but the accident and emergency wards were open from 1983, and a hospital has existed on site since 1829. Initially it was a mental health unit, called the 'Lunatic Asylum Building'.

Deva Stadium

The Deva Stadium, also known as the Exacta Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is an association football stadium spanning the Wales–England border in the United Kingdom, that is the home of Chester F.C. , the effective successor club to the liquidated Chester City F.C. The name Deva comes from the original Roman name for the fort Deva Victrix, which became the city of Chester, in North West England. The Deva Stadium replaced Sealand Road.

Bache railway station

Bache railway station serves the Bache area of Upton in the north of the city of Chester, England. It is the first station for Merseyrail services leaving Chester on the Wirral Line.
