Waterside is a hamlet in the parish of Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the town itself, though anciently referred to the group of dwellings next to the River Chess in Chesham. River Chess

The River Chess is a chalk stream which springs from Chesham, Buckinghamshire and runs through Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, in south-eastern England. The Chess, along with the Colne and Gade, gives rise to the name of the district of Three Rivers, in which it forms its confluence with the Colne at Rickmansworth. The River Chess fall is 60 metres and its length is 11 miles .

Botley is a hamlet in the civil parish of Chesham, in Buckinghamshire, England. The hamlet name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means Botta's Clearing. Botley includes the Hen and Chickens pub, Botley Stores shop and Goose Acre pond. Most of the houses in Botley are on Botley Road. Botley is divided between the civil parishes of Chesham and Latimer. Botley merges into the village of Ley Hill.

Lye Green

Lye Green is a hamlet in the parish of Chesham in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located north east of Chesham. Lycrome Road runs through the centre of the hamlet, from the A416 in the east to the B4505 in the west. The hamlet consists of a green and a pub called The Black Cat. The church community of Lye Green used to meet in rooms at the pub which was run by Miss Bessie Bangay, an Anglican church leader from the 1930s to the 1960s.
