Gara Bridge railway station

Gara Bridge railway station was a station on the Kingsbridge branch of the GWR. Opened in December 1893 the stone built station was the only one on the line to have a passing loop. Despite a great deal of local opposition station was closed for freight and passengers on 16 September 1963, and is now a private dwelling. Rattery

Rattery is a village and civil parish in Devon, England, a few miles from Buckfastleigh, Ashburton, and Dartington. The name is often interpreted as a variant of "Red Tree" and is listed in the Domesday Book as Ratreu. Robert Herrick, the famous seventeenth century poet, lived in the hamlet of Dean Prior on the edge of Rattery.

The Blackdown Rings are the earthworks of an Iron Age hill fort near the hamlet of Hazelwood in Devon, England. The fort is situated on a hilltop approximately 185 metres above sea level, in a commanding position above the River Avon.
