Butcher's Arms Ground

Butcher's Arms Ground is a multi-use stadium in Droylsden, Tameside, Greater Manchester, England. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Droylsden F.C.. The stadium has a capacity of 3,500 people both seated and standing and is nicknamed "The Slaughterhouse" or "Abattoir" by fans.

Hollinwood Branch Canal

The Hollinwood Branch Canal was a canal near Hollinwood, in Oldham, England. It left the main line of the Ashton Canal at Fairfield Junction immediately above lock 18. It was just over 4.5 miles long and went through Droylsden and Waterhouses to terminate at Hollinwood Basin (Hollinwood Top Wharf). It rose through four locks at Waterhouses (19-22) and another four at Hollinwood (23-26). Immediately above lock 22 at Waterhouses was Fairbottom Junction where the Fairbottom Branch Canal started.

Droylsden

Droylsden is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside, in Greater Manchester, England. It is 4.1 miles to the east of Manchester city centre, and 2.2 miles west-southwest of Ashton-under-Lyne, it has a population of 23,172. Historically a part of Lancashire, Droylsden grew as a mill town around the cotton mills established in the mid-19th century, and the Ashton and Peak Forest canals.

Audenshaw Metrolink station

Audenshaw Metrolink Station is a future station under construction as part of Phase 3b of the Manchester Metrolink. The station is scheduled to open in the winter of 2013–14 and will be located on Droylsden Road at the junctions of Lumb Lane and Manchester Road.

Fairfield railway station (Greater Manchester)

Fairfield railway station serves the Fairfield area of Droylsden, Tameside, Greater Manchester and isBad rounding here{{#invoke:Math|precision_format| 5*1,000/1,609.344 | 1-0 }} miles (5 km) east of Manchester Piccadilly station. It was opened by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway in 1892, when the branch to Chorlton-cum-Hardy opened, and replaced an earlier station that had opened with the line in 1841. The original station was east of the present station.
