Great Barr Hall

Great Barr Hall is an 18th century mansion situated at Pheasey, Walsall, on the border with Great Barr, Birmingham, West Midlands, England. It is a Grade II* listed building. It is, however, in a very poor state of repair and is on the Buildings at Risk Register.

Bishop Asbury Cottage

Bishop Asbury Cottage is a 17th century cottage on Newton Road, Great Barr, England, known for being the boyhood home of Francis Asbury, one of the first two bishops of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States. It is now a museum in his memory.

Tower Hill, West Midlands

Tower Hill is an area of Great Barr, Birmingham, England. It is situated on the western side of the main A34 road that links Birmingham with Walsall, and straddles the Tame Valley Canal. The canal passes through Tower Hill in a deep cutting in 200-million year old sandstone, and is crossed by Freeth Bridge (now restricted to pedestrians and bikes only). There are no locks on this section, which is at the Walsall Level.

Sandwell Valley RSPB reserve

Sandwell Valley RSPB reserve is a nature reserve, run by the RSPB, in Sandwell Valley, to the north of West Bromwich, in the Sandwell borough of West Midlands in England. It is adjacent to, and shares its main lake with, Sandwell Valley Country Park. In March 2010 the visitor centre was destroyed in an arson attack. The reserve and bird hide remain open to pedestrian visitors, with a temporary visitor center located next to the entrance at Tanhouse Avenue.
