Winkworth Arboretum

Winkworth Arboretum is a National Trust-owned arboretum located between Godalming and Hascombe, Surrey, England. Winkworth Arboretum exhibits large collections of azalea, rhododendron, and holly on slopes leading down to ornamental lakes. Gertrude Jekyll explored the woods in the early 20th century. The exotic trees were planted from 1938 by Wilfrid Fox.

Hydon's Ball

Hydon's Ball is a 587-foot hill on Hydon Heath, Surrey, England. It is situated roughly 6 km southeast of Godalming, in central southern England. It is adjacent to the hamlet of Hydestile, near the village of Hambledon. Sometimes known as Hydon Ball, or Cup Hill, it is now in the care of the National Trust. At its highest point is a large stone seat which was placed there in 1915 as a memorial to Octavia Hill, one of the Trust's founders.

Oakhurst Cottage

Oakhurst Cottage is a tiny 16th-century cottage in Hambledon, Surrey, in the United Kingdom. It is now owned by the National Trust, which has restored the timber-framed building as an excellent example of a Surrey labourer's cottage. Its garden is filled with plants that were popular during the Victorian era. Such is its size that Oakhurst Cottage can only be viewed by appointment, and by groups of no more than six people at a time.
