Laithkirk

Laithkirk is a small hamlet of three houses and a small church in County Durham, in England. All of the houses in Laithkirk are accessed by an unnamed road which connects the B6277 and the B6276. The hamlet is the final settlement (baring a caravan park) that lies in Lunedale, before the Lune river joins with the Tees. It is situated in Teesdale between Mickleton and Bowbank, near to Middleton-in-Teesdale.

Kirkcarrion

Kirkcarrion is a copse of pine trees, surrounded by a stone wall, on a hilltop near Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham, England. The trees cover a tumulus which is said to be the burial place of a Bronze Age chieftain. The trees were planted by Elija Foster and his son Alan Foster of Lowside Farm in 1936.

Thringarth

Thringarth is a hamlet in Lunedale, in the Pennines of England. It is traditionally located in the North Riding of Yorkshire but along with the rest of the former Startforth Rural District it was transferred to County Durham for administrative and ceremonial purposes on 1 April 1974, under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972.
