Brook Stream

Brook Stream (or Spiders Castle Dyke) is a tributary of the Great Stour river in Ashford, Kent, England. The water can be bright orange at times because of iron deposits. The stream runs from its source near Brook, 6.1 kilometres, north west to the Great Stour.

Eastwell Park

Eastwell Park was an English stately home in the civil parish of Eastwell, adjoining Ashford in Kent, that for a time served as a royal residence. The house was demolished in the 1920s and replaced with a large house called Eastwell Manor, which is now a country house hotel. The original house was built for Sir Thomas Moyle between 1540 and 1550 by Richard Plantagenet (Richard of Eastwell), who claimed to be a son of Richard III of England.

Julliberrie's Grave

Julliberrie's Grave is an unchambered earthen Neolithic long barrow in the English county of Kent. It is situated near Chilham overlooking the River Stour on the Julliberrie Downs at Ordnance Survey, grid reference TR077532. The Stour Valley Walk passes close to the site. It is 44 metres in length, 2 metres high and measures 15 metres at its widest although it was originally longer. Eighteenth century chalk extraction has destroyed the northern end.

Chilham railway station

Chilham railway station serves the area around the village of Chilham in Kent, England, including Chilham itself, Shottenden, Old Wives Lees, Selling and Bagham. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Southeastern. The station was opened by the South Eastern Railway (SER) on 1 December 1846, and is on the SER Ashford to Margate line. The platforms are connected by a concrete footbridge - a typical product of the Southern Railway concrete factory at Exmouth Junction.

Wye railway station

Wye railway station serves Wye in Kent, England. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Southeastern. The platforms are connected by a concrete footbridge - a typical product of the Southern Railway concrete factory at Exmouth Junction. There is a manned level crossing at the south end of the station. There is a separate car park (free) to the NW of the station. The station is manned for part of the day. There is no passenger-operated ticket machine at this location.
