ROF Thorpe Arch

ROF Thorp Arch was one of sixteen World War II, UK government-owned Royal Ordnance Factory, which produced munitions. It was a medium-sized filling factory (Filling Factory No. 9). It was located on the banks of the River Wharfe, north east of the two villages of Boston Spa and Thorp Arch; and four miles south east of the town of Wetherby, West Yorkshire in England.

Tadcaster Rural District

Tadcaster was a rural district in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. It was named after Tadcaster. It was created by the Local Government Act 1894 from the Tadcaster rural sanitary district. It was enlarged in 1937 by the abolition of Bishopthorpe Rural District. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972.

Tadcaster Albion A.F.C

Tadcaster Albion A.F.C. are an English football club based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, formed in 1892. Their ground is situated behind the John Smith's brewery in Tadcaster, thus the reason for their nickname "The Brewers". Currently, they are members of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division. They are managed by Paul Marshall who was appointed in May 2008. Martin House Hospice

Martin House is a children's hospice in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, England. It provides care and support to families in which there is a child or children with a short life expectancy.
