The Christmas Adventure

The Christmas Adventure is a seasonal event held at the 2,000-acre Stockeld Park estate in North Yorkshire. A661 road

The A661 is an A road running between Wetherby and Harrogate in West and North Yorkshire, England. The road is approximately 10 miles in length. The A661 begins in West Yorkshire at the South Wetherby roundabout (adjacent to the Ramada Jarvis Hotel) where it intersects with the A58 and slip roads for the A1. The A661 finishes at the Empress roundabout in Harrogate, where it intersects with the A59, towards Knaresborough and York in one direction and Skipton in the other.

Harewood speed Hillclimb

Harewood speed Hillclimb (the form with italics and a lower-case s is used officially) is a hillclimb near the village of Harewood, West Yorkshire, England. The track can be found on the A659 between Harewood village and Collingham, north of Leeds. In addition to national events, it hosts rounds of the British Hill Climb Championship, a Classic & Historic Hillclimb and an event that includes bikes.

Micklethwaite, Wetherby

Micklethwaite is an area of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, England. It is part of the City of Leeds metropolitan borough. Micklethwaite lies on the south banks of the River Wharfe. Micklethwaite was at one point a village in its own rights, however through the growth of Wetherby it is now seen as an area of Wetherby. In 2004 Micklethwaite farm was mostly demolished and 150 dwellings have now been constructed.

Wetherby Rural District

Wetherby was a rural district in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. It was named after the town of Wetherby. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, and split between two new districts.
