Priory of St. Andrews of the Ards
The Priory of St. Andrews of the Ards (Blackabbey) was a Benedictine Abbey at Stogursey in Somerset. Originally the area was known as Stoke and by 1086 was owned by William de Falaise following the Norman Conquest. He who had recently married Geva, daughter of Serlo de Burci, and widow of Martin "de Wallis". Early in the 12th century, William and Geva's daughter, Emma, was betrothed to William Fitz Humphrey, and the couple received the manor of Stoke upon their wedding.

Steart Peninsula
The Steart Peninsula is a peninsula in Somerset, England. At its outermost tip is Fenning Island, at the tip of which is Steart Point. It consists largely of low-lying flat farmland, and projects northwards on the west side of Stockland Reach, the lower stretches of the estuary of the River Parrett.

Cannington Nunnery
Cannington Nunnery was established around 1138 and dissolved in 1536 in Cannington, Somerset, England. It was attached to the Church of St Mary. Benedictine nuns, transferred to Colwich Abbey. The building was converted into a mansion and later reverted to being a nunnery. It was disestablished as part of the dissolution of the monasteries in 1536. Cannington Court incorporates some of the remains.

Ashford Reservoir
Ashford Reservoir is a small reservoir on the eastern side of the Quantock Hills near the villages of Charlynch and Spaxton in Somerset, England. It was constructed 1934 as a water supply reservoir for Bridgwater. It collects the water of Cannington Brook which is also dammed at Hawkridge Reservoir. Fishing is allowed and catches include; Bream, Perch and Roach. The water treatment centre provides educational opportunities.
