Castledawson is a village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is mostly within the townland of Shanemullagh, about four miles from the north-western shore of Lough Neagh, and close to the market town of Magherafelt. In 2001 it had a population of 2,977 according to the Census.

Moyola Park Golf Club

Moyola Park Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course set in 130 acres (53 hectares) of mature wooded parkland in the Shanemullagh Estate at Castledawson, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It was founded in 1977 by James Chichester-Clark and his wife on family land at Moyola Park. The River Moyola runs through the course. The club has recently completed an extensive development programme.

Saint Malachy's GAC Castledawson (Irish: An Séan Mhullach) is a Gaelic Athletic Club from Castledawson, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The club is a member of the Derry GAA and currently cater for both Gaelic football and Camogie. Underage teams up to U-12's play in South Derry league and championships, from U-14 upwards teams compete in All-Derry competitions.
