Creevekeeran Castle is a castle in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It stands on a rocky outcrop but only the west wall, three stories high, remains. Tyholland (Irish: Tigh Thalainn, meaning "Talainn's house") is a small parish in County Monaghan, Ireland. It is the smallest parish in the County Monaghan and borders County Armagh. For a period it was united with Donagh parish and later still with Monaghan parish. Since 1826 it has been once again a parish in its own right.

Castleshane, County Monaghan

Castleshane is a small village on the outskirts of Monaghan town in the north of County Monaghan in Ireland. Castleshane, or Caisléan an tSiáin in Irish, translates as the castle (or fort) of the fairies and not 'the castle of Shane' as most believe. The village is situated on the N2, the main road from Dublin to Derry and Letterkenny, and is located approximately 6 kilometres from Monaghan town and 17 kilometres from Castleblayney.
