Quoyness chambered cairn
The Quoyness chambered cairn is located on Sanday in Orkney, Scotland. It is approximately 5,000 years old and is located on the shoreside. The cairn is about 4 metres high and can be accessed by crawling through the entrance passage, itself 9 metres long. Only half the entrance passage is roofed. A stone platform surrounds the cairn, and when originally built the cairn would have looked like Maeshowe today. Bones from 10 adults and 5 children were removed.

Scar boat burial
The Scar boat burial is a Viking boat burial near the village of Scar, on Sanday, in Orkney, Scotland. The burial, which dates to between 875 and 950 AD, contained the remains of a man, an elderly woman, and a child, along with numerous grave goods. Although the site had to be excavated quickly because of the threat of coastal erosion owing to bad weather conditions, it yielded many important findings.

Stronsay Airport is located 15 NM northeast by north of Kirkwall Airport on Stronsay, Orkney Islands, Scotland. Stronsay Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P540) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Orkney Islands Council). The aerodrome is not licensed for night use.
