The Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway, a 24 gauge railway in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, is laid on the trackbed of the former Leadhills and Wanlockhead Branch of the Caledonian Railway which led off the main line between Carlisle and Glasgow at Elvanfoot.

Elvanfoot

Elvanfoot is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Elvanfoot is located at the confluence of the River Clyde and Elvan Water. The Clyde is crossed by a pedestrian suspension bridge that has been closed since 2007 for want of repair. The apparently-abandoned church is on the Buildings at Risk register for Scotland.

Crawfordjohn is a small village and civil parish located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is 3 miles west of Abington and 7 miles north east of Leadhills, near junction 13 of the M74.
