Rhos Llawr Cwrt National Nature Reserve
Rhos Llawr Cwrt National Nature Reserve nestles in the base of the Clettwr valley, some 10 kilometres from the Ceredigion coast, between Ffostrasol and Talgarreg. Glaciers have scraped and shaped this landscape and evidence of the last Ice Age can be seen everywhere. The most striking of these are the remains of the pingos found on the reserve, landforms which were once small hills but whose summits collapsed when the ice which formed them melted.

Ffostrasol is a small village in the south of Ceredigion, Wales. It is located on the A486 between Synod Inn and Llandysul, and it forms part of the parish of Llangynllo. The village lies on a rural crossroad connecting it with the nearby village of Plwmp to the north, Synod Inn to the north east, Newcastle Emlyn to the south west, and Llandysul to the south east. Village amenities include the Ffostrasol Arms inn, or Tafarn Ffostrasol in Welsh, and a garage.

The Internal Fire - Museum of Power is a museum of internal combustion engines in West Wales. The museum's collection is mostly of larger stationary diesel engines, as used for generating sets and pumping stations. The museum is located at Tanygroes, Ceredigion, near Cardigan.
