Undy is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, adjoining the village of Magor with which it forms the community and parish of "Magor with Undy". Penhow Woodlands National Nature Reserve is a National Nature Reserve located in south east Wales near the village of Penhow, to the east of Newport. Three pockets of woodland amidst farmed fields make up the Penhow Woodlands National Nature Reserve. Tucked away in a dry valley north of the village of Magor, it lies close to the England/Wales border. The rich soil of the woods allows a wide variety of plants and flowers to flourish, and in late spring hazes of bluebells cover the ground.

Wilcrick is a small village within the administrative boundary of the city of Newport, South Wales, just to the west of Magor. It is within the historic county of Monmouthshire.
