Pontlliw

Pontlliw is a village in the community of Pontlliw and Tircoed, part of the City and County of Swansea in Wales. The community has an elected community council, and has a population of 2,075. The village is located near Pontarddulais, off Junction 47 of the M4 motorway. The name of the village comes from the Welsh word for bridge (pont) and the name of the River Lliw which runs through the village.

Grovesend

Grovesend is a village in the community of Grovesend and Waungron (Welsh: Pengelli a Waungron), City and County of Swansea in Wales. The community has a population of 1,181. Grovesend is a mainly residential community, with the major amenity being the welfare club. Locals must travel to nearby areas such as Gorseinon or Pontarddulais for shopping. Grovesend also has a primary school, with about 100 pupils in, and a nursing home.

Mawr is both an electoral ward and a community of the City and County of Swansea, in south Wales, U.K. Mawr has its own elected community council. Mawr falls within the parliamentary constituency of Gower. It is bounded by the wards of Pontarddulais to the west; Llangyfelach and Morriston to the south; Clydach to the southeast; Pontardawe of Neath Port Talbot to the northeast; Betws to the north and Tycroes to the north west.
