Sunland Hospital

Sunland Hospital refers to a chain of defunct mental health facilities located throughout the state of Florida. Originally named the W. T. Edwards Tuberculosis Hospitals, the facilities were later remodeled into "Sunland Centers" with services for the mentally and physically disabled, specializing mostly in children. A large majority of the centers were shut down by 1983 for various health and safety reasons.

Lafayette Oaks

Lafayette Oaks is a subdivision in Tallahassee, Florida about 7 miles northeast of downtown. It is one of a number of housing subdivisions built on the Lafayette Land Grant, land granted to the Marquis de Lafayette for his service in the American Revolution. There are about 330 homes all on one acre lots. This is one of the few gated communities in the Tallahassee area. There are about 800 residents who live in Lafayette Oaks; the median age is around 54.
