Established in 1881, Sneads High School is a high school with grades 9-12. It is located in the rural countryside west of Tallahassee, in Jackson County, Florida, the United States. Victory Bridge (Florida)

The Victory Bridge carries US 90 over the floodplain of the Apalachicola River in the Florida Panhandle, immediately below the Jim Woodruff Dam. It was originally built by the Masters and Mullen Construction Company out of Cleveland (Henry C. Masters and Claude F. Mullen). The original Victory Bridge, completed in 1922 at a cost of $1,000,000 USD, is no longer used, having been replaced by a high-level bridge slightly upstream that carries the same name.

Jim Woodruff Dam

Jim Woodruff Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Apalachicola River, about 1,000 feet south of that river's origin at the confluence of the Flint and Chattahoochee Rivers. The dam impounds Lake Seminole on the common border of Florida and Georgia. The dam is named in honor of James W. Woodruff, Sr. , a Georgia businessman who spearheaded the development of the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint Project.

Lake Seminole

Lake Seminole is a reservoir located in the southwest corner of Georgia along its border with Florida, maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Chattahoochee and Flint rivers join in the lake, before flowing from the Jim Woodruff Lock and Dam, which impounds the lake, as the Apalachicola River. The lake contains 37,500 acres of water, and has a shoreline of 376 mi . The fish in Lake Seminole include Largemouth bass, crappie, Chain pickerel, catfish, Striped bass and other species.
