Mooselookmeguntic Lake

Mooselookmeguntic Lake is located in Franklin County and Oxford County, Maine, in the United States. It is part of the Androscoggin River watershed. Mooselookmeguntic Lake receives water from several sources. The Cupsuptic River flows into Cupsuptic Lake, which is directly connected with the northern part of Mooselookmeguntic Lake. The Rangeley River and Kennebago River both flow into northeastern Mooselookmeguntic Lake. The lake is just a few miles from the Appalachian Trail.

Rangeley Lake

Rangeley Lake is located in Franklin County, Maine in the United States. It is fed by several streams. Its waters flow out from the lake's northwestern end into the short Rangeley River, then into Mooselookmeguntic Lake, and ultimately into the Androscoggin River, Merrymeeting Bay, the lower Kennebec River, the Gulf of Maine and the Atlantic Ocean. The lake is one of the major headwater lakes of the Androscoggin watershed.

Orgonon

Orgonon was the 160-acre home, laboratory and research center of the Austrian-born psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957). Located in Rangeley, Maine, it is Reich's burial place, and is now open to the public as the Wilhelm Reich Museum. The name is a play on orgone energy.
