Homer Stryker Field

Homer Stryker Field is a stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The baseball field is located in Kalamazoo's Mayors Riverfront Park. It is primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Kalamazoo Kings minor league baseball team. It originally opened in 1963, making it the oldest ballpark in the Frontier League's Central Division. It holds 4,000 people. Homer Stryker Field became the home of the Kalamazoo Kings in 2001.

Cathedral of Saint Augustine (Kalamazoo, Michigan)

St. Augustine Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Kalamazoo. The local residents constructed a church in 1852 as a mission used by traveling priests. Detroit bishop Peter Paul Lefevère established the parish of St. Augustine and appointed a permanent pastor in a letter from dated January 22, 1856. However, by 1869, the structure was no longer safe and inadequate for the growing congregation.
