Stony Point (Henderson) Light

The Stony Point (Henderson) Light is a lighthouse on the shore of Lake Ontario near Henderson Bay in New York. The site was established in 1826, and the original lighthouse was lit in 1869. The light and attached keeper's quarters are currently privately owned. A new light was built in 1945, and it was automated in 1950. This light is maintained by the US Coast Guard. The site is not open to the public.

Southwick Beach State Park

Southwick Beach State Park is a New York State park that lies along an unusual stretch of sandy beach on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. The park is 464 acres in size with a 3,500 foot length of beach, and is visited annually by about 100,000 people. Immediately to the south is the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area (3,461 acres), which extends the publicly accessible beach by several miles.

Association Island

Association Island is a 65-acre island located at the northern tip of Stony Point, a peninsula into the eastern end of Lake Ontario. A part of the Town of Henderson, New York in Jefferson County, the island is about 16 miles southwest of Watertown at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:43.90|N|76.21|W||||| | |name= }}. A 1,300-foot two-lane causeway connects to the mainland.

Little Galloo Island

Little Galoo Island is a relatively small island located roughly 15 miles off the coast of Sackets Harbor, New York, in Lake Ontario. It is part of the Town of Hounsfield, in Jefferson County. The island was once a popular area for tourists in the area, but recently, cormorants have ravaged the island, destroying all vegetation. The island is now just a small rock atoll, with a small lagoon in the center. Local schools have taken action to revive wildlife on the island.
