Chenango Valley State Park is a state park located in Broome County, New York, USA. The park is located in western part of the Town of Fenton adjacent to the Chenango River. Chenango Forks is a hamlet located in Broome County, New York in the United States. The community is partly in the Town of Chenango and partly in the Town of Barker. Chenango Forks is about nine miles north of Binghamton on Route 12 and is at the confluence of the Chenango River and Tioughnioga River. Chenango Valley State Park is southwest of the hamlet. It was named in honor of John Broome, who was lieutenant governor in 1806 when Broome County was established. Its county seat is Binghamton, which is also its major city.
