Byram River

The Byram River is a river approximately 13.9 miles in length, in southeast New York and southwestern Connecticut in the United States. The river has an elevation of 750 feet at its headwaters at Byram Lake in Westchester County, New York, and flows in a southward direction, crossing the New York-Connecticut border and eventually reaching sea level at Port Chester Harbor, where it empties into the Long Island Sound.

Rye (Metro-North station)

Rye is a Metro-North commuter rail station that serves Rye, New York via the New Haven Line. During the spring and summer months, the Playland amusement park is accessible from the station via the seasonal 75-Playland route on the Bee-Line Bus System; this service provides a sizeable source of additional ridership in non-peak hours. For many years, Rye was the eastern Westchester County station for Amtrak, until it was replaced by New Rochelle in October 1987.

Byram, Connecticut

Byram is a neighborhood/section and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Greenwich in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It had a population of 4,146 at the 2010 census. It is separated from Port Chester, Westchester County, New York, by the Byram River. Byram was once known as East Port Chester.

Calf Island (Connecticut)
