Mount Oliver, Pennsylvania

Mount Oliver is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a largely residential area situated atop a crest about 3 miles west of the Monongahela River. The borough is surrounded entirely by the city of Pittsburgh. It is named for Oliver Ormsby, son of John Ormsby, who held the original land grant for the area from George III. Mount Oliver has experienced some tough times of late which are associated with the slippage of the steel-making capacity of the Pittsburgh region.

South Hills Junction (PAT station)

South Hills Junction is a station on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's light rail network. This station served as the original "merge point" of the inbound Beechview and Overbrook branches of the light rail system, just before the run under Mount Washington through the Mount Washington Transit Tunnel and into downtown Pittsburgh. In 1993 the Overbrook (Blue) Line was shut down for complete reconstruction to serve the modern-day light rail cars.

Boggs (PAT station)

Boggs is a station on the Overbrook branch of the Port Authority of Allegheny County's light rail network. It is located in the Beltzhoover neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Boggs is a high level handicap accessible station that exits onto Boggston Ave. and Sylvania Ave. The station serves commuters from the hilly, residential neighborhood.

South Tenth Street Bridge

South Tenth Street Bridge, most often called the Tenth Street Bridge, but officially dubbed the Philip Murray Bridge, is a suspension bridge spanning the Monongahela River in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bridge was renamed on Labor Day 2007 for Philip Murray, the first president of the United Steelworkers of America and a giant of the 20th century American labor movement.
