Floyd Casey Stadium

Floyd Casey Stadium is a stadium in Waco, Texas. It is primarily used for football, and is the home field of the Baylor Bears. Floyd Casey Stadium is about four miles from the Baylor campus. Floyd Casey Stadium was built in 1950 and cost $1.8 million dollars to construct. It opened under the name Baylor Stadium in 1950 with a game against Houston, won by Baylor 34-7, and has room for 50,000 people.

Extraco Events Center

The Heart O' Texas Fair Complex, now known as the Extraco Events Center, is located in Waco, Texas. It was once the prime basketball facility for Baylor University. The H.O. T Coliseum was constructed after McLennan County voters authorized a bond issue of $1,200,000 in the early 1950s. Despite public criticism that might be directed toward the board and individual members, it was the board’s unanimous decision to build portions of the entire plant that the available money would permit.

Armstrong Browning Library

Baylor Bears

Baylor Bears (variously Baylor or BU) refers to the sports teams of Baylor University. Baylor's men's sports teams are named the Bears, and some women's teams are names the Lady Bears. Student athletes participate in the NCAA's Division I, and Baylor is one of only two private schools in the Big 12 Conference. Prior to joining the Big 12, Baylor was a member of the Southwest Conference from the conference's charter creation in 1914 until its dissolution in 1996.
