Malott, Washington

Malott is a small unincorporated community in Okanogan County, Washington, USA. The community sits on the western bank of the Okanogan River and has bridge access to highway 97. It has a general store, bar and church. Malott takes its name from L.C. Malott, who first settled in the area in 1886. The town was founded in 1890 and platted in 1909. Originally a stopover point with a hotel, most of the town was destroyed by flooding in 1938 after a dam burst on Loop Loop Creek.

Loup Loup Ski Bowl

Loup Loup Ski Bowl is a ski area located in the Methow Valley of Okanogan County, Washington, midway between the towns of Twisp and Omak on Highway 20. The ski area's season generally runs from late November or December until April, but is only open four days out of the week, and on holidays. Loup Loup offers ski and snowboard lessons, rentals, and also children's programs.
