Cheyenne Frontier Days is an outdoor rodeo and western celebration held annually since 1897 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA. The event, claimed to be one of the largest of its kind in the world, draws nearly 200,000 people every year. Lodging fills up quickly during the peak tourist season throughout southern and eastern Wyoming and even into Colorado and Nebraska. It occurs during 10 days centered around the last full week of July.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne is a Roman Catholic diocese covering the state of Wyoming, as well as the parts of Yellowstone National Park in Montana and Idaho. It was founded on August 2, 1887 by Pope Leo XIII. Maurice Francis Burke was the first bishop. The see had been vacant from the August 2008 installation of Bishop Ricken in the Diocese of Green Bay, Wisconsin until the October 19, 2009 announcement of the appointment of Bishop-elect Etienne.
