Ninh Kieu District

Ninh Kiều is an urban district (quận) of Cần Thơ in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Ninh Kiều is located at the centre of Cần Thơ. Most of Cần Thơ's municipal offices are located here. Ninh Kiều is located along the Bassac River. Its most attractive site is the wharf, along which there are several hotels and restaurants. The bridge, part of which collapsed during construction in 2007, and Cần Thơ Ferry connect Ninh Kiều with Bình Minh, Vĩnh Long province.

Phong Dien District, Can Tho

Phong Điền is a rural district of Can Tho in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003, the district had a population of 102,621. As of 2004, the population had risen to 102,699. The district covers an area of 119 km . Phong Dien was established by Decree No. 05/2004/ND-CP dated January 2, 2004. To the east it borders Ninh Kieu District, Cai Rang District, and to the west it borders Hau Giang province, and Bac Binh Thuy District.

Thới Lai is a new rural district (huyện) of Can Tho City in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2009 the district had a population of 120,964. The district covers an area of 255.66 km². The district capital lies at Thới Lai town. This district established in 2009 with split Cờ Đỏ District into Thới Lai District and new Cờ Đỏ District.

Binh Thuy Air Base

Binh Thuy Air Base is a former air force base in Vietnam, It was constructed by the United States in 1965 and used by the South Vietnamese Air Force (SVNAF) and the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War in the IV Corps Tactical Zone of South Vietnam. It was seized by the Vietnam People's Army in April 1975 and was abandoned for several decades. Today, the site is being redeveloped as Trà Nóc Airport.
