Tu Son

Từ Sơn is a county-level town (Vietnam) of Bac Ninh province in the Red River Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 123,296 . The district covers an area of 61 km². The district capital lies at Tu Son. In 974, Lý Thái Tổ was born in this town and the Lý Bát Đế Shrine is located here.

Đình Bảng communal house

Đình Bảng communal hall is one of the largest and finest village communal houses in Vietnam. It is located in Đình Bảng village, Từ Sơn district, in the Red River Delta province of Bắc Ninh, 17 km from the nation's capital, Hanoi. The construction started in 1700 and was completed 36 years later.

Co Loa Citadel

Cổ Loa Citadel (Vietnamese: Thành Cổ Loa) is a citadel built near Phong Khe, about 20km to the North of today’s Hanoi, during the end of the Hồng Bàng Dynasty (about 257 BCE). The fortress is a spiral-shaped complex of the then new capital. Its name is derived from the Sino-Vietnamese 古螺, meaning "old spiral. " The site has been the source of various relics of the Dong Son culture of the Bronze Age.
